Welcome to the Isar and the Bavarian Alps

The Technische Universität München is one of Germany's Universities of Excellence and according to QS World University Ranking 2009 the best German university with a long historical tradition as Technical University (founded in 1868). There are several famous research centers in, e.g., Garching, Weihenstephan, and Rechts der Isar. The conference will take place in the modern buildings of the Center for Mathematics and Computer Science near the Leibniz Computing Center in Garching. The organizing chair is head of the Carl von Linde-Academy, the interdisciplinary center of TUM.
